P3 for Aleix Espargarò at Austrian Sprint

The eleventh round was raced at Red Bull Ring Circuit, in Austria: a track introduced to the calendar in 2016 and originally built to replace the nearby Zeltweg military airport.

After a tough Friday with two crashes, Saturday’s Austrian Sprint Race saw an amazing Aleix Espargarò among the top MotoGP riders. Starting from PXNUMX on the grid, the Spanish rider raced in the top positions, maintaining a solid pace and finishing third. For Aleix this is the fourth podium in the Sprint and the second consecutive one after Silverstone.
